FUNERAL SERVICE: 4:00 PM, Saturday, September 6, 2008 at Shiloh United Methodist Church

INTERMENT: will follow in the church cemetery

VISITATION: 6:00 - 8:00 PM, Friday at Miller-Rivers-Caulder Funeral Home

HISTORY: Mrs. Goodale was born August 22, 1920 in Chesterfield County, SC a daughter of the late Craig and Annie Rainwater Gainey. She was a former empoloyee of Sacony and a retired employee of Chesterfield Manufacturing. Mrs. Goodale was a member of Shiloh United Methodist Church. Irene was married to the late Charlie Goodale and was also preceded in death by three grandchildren, Craig Goodale, Cassa Messick, and Audra Goodale, and by three brothers, Thomas, Leward, and Perry Gainey.

4 Sons: Jerry Goodale of Cheraw, SC, Thomas (Mary) Goodale and W. M. (Miriam) Goodale of Chesterfield, SC, and Donnie (Sue) Goodale of Cheraw, SC
3 Daughters: Peggy (Jimmy) Morrow of Chesterfield, SC, Catherine Davis of Lancaster, SC, and Elizabeth Goodale of Richmond, VA
1 Brother: Cecil Gainey, Sr. of Cherry Grove Beach, SC
2 Sisters: Beatrice G. Winters of Sumter, SC, and Evelyn G. Sellers of Chesterfield, SC
Also 17 Grandchildren, 36 Great Grandchildren, and 10 Great, Great, Grandchildren
