FUNERAL SERVICE: 4:00 P.M. Wednesday, September 24, 2008 at Shiloh United Methodist Church.

INTERMENT: to follow in the Church Cemetery

HISTORY: Mr. Davis was born February 22, 1977 in Columbia, SC, a son of J. Mitchell and Cynthia Gulledge Davis. He was a 1995 graduate of Chesterfield High School and attended the University of South Carolina. Austin was a graduate of Northeastern Technical College and Charleston Southern University, where he earned a Bachelors Degree in Science. He was a former lab technician with General Engineering Laboratories and was now assistant manager and chef at Carolina Restaurant & Steak House. Mr. Davis was a lifetime member of the Alpha Chi Alumni Program and was a member of Shiloh United Methodist Church. Austin loved music, and was an avid hockey fan. He was preceded in death by his grandfathers, Tommie Gulledge, Jr. and Junious C. Davis, and by his cousin, Kent Demby.
