HISTORY: Mr. Roscoe was born February 3, 1931 in Chesterfield, SC a son of the late John Gurley Roscoe and Geneva Rivers Roscoe. He was retired owner and operator of Roscoe Service Center and Delta Oil, and was an avid farmer. He was a former member of the SC National Guard and a US Air Force Veteran. Mr. Roscoe was a member of Chesterfield Baptist Church. J.L. enjoyed fishing, farming, and riding in his truck. In addition to his parents, J.L. was preceded in death by his wife, Betty Jean Roscoe; son, Chris Roscoe; daughter-in-law, Danya B. Roscoe Lisenby; brother, Robert Hugh Roscoe; 2 sisters, Della Mae Hartwick, and Mavis Beyersdorf; and half brother, Ralph Roscoe.

2 Half Brothers: Johnny Ray Roscoe of Patrick, SC, and Ervin Wayne Roscoe of Hamlet, NC
