Jacqueline Jenkins

Chapin - Jacqueline “Jackie” Campbell Jenkins, 64. passed away Sunday, September 20, 2015. Born January 1, 1951 in Fort Benning, Ga. She was the first baby born in and Fort Benning, Ga and Columbus, Ga in 1951. She was the daughter of J.B. and Gladis Bryan Campbell. Jackie graduated Chesterfield High School and went on to Chesterfield-Marlboro Technical Collage where she took Security Science. She was voted Miss Tec while she was there. Later she worked for S.C. Department of Mental Health then with the Department of Corrections.

Survivors include her father, Jack Broadus “J.B.” step-mother, Evelyn Campbell; son, Robert Jenkins Jr; daughter, Ashton Jenkins ; step-sister, Lisa (Tommie) Polson; brother, Jerry (Theresa) Campbell and half-brother, John (Corky) Ingram.

A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, October 2, 2015 at Dunbar Funeral Home, Dutch Fork Chapel with visitation to follow. Caughman-Harman Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements at Dunbar Dutch Fork Chapel, 7600 Woodrow Street, Irmo, SC 29063
