HISTORY: Mr. Brooks was born in Monroe, NC a son of Barbara Brooks Helms and the late Lamar Brooks. He was an employee of Tyson Fresh Meats as a Senior Field Sales Consultant. Mr. Brooks was a U.S. Air Force Veteran of the Vietnam Conflict and a member of Hillcrest Baptist Church. James was preceded in death by 2 sons, Dustin Brooks and Gerald Rhynes, Jr.
