     Mr. James Robert Cook, age 56, entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, May 1, 2024. A Celebration of Life service will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday, May 4, 2024 from the Chapel of Miller-Rivers-Caulder Funeral Home. The family will greet friends immediately following the service.

 

     Mr. Cook was born September 30, 1967 in Cheraw, SC a son of the late Robert English and Letha Mae Adams Cook. James was a man of many talents including carpentry and electrical work. James was an avid outdoorsman and he loved being in nature. He was the most content while hunting, fishing, or horseback riding. James also enjoyed watching westerns, wrestling, and basketball. Mr. Cook loved animals and he had many pets throughout the years.

 

     In addition to his parents, Mr. Cook was also preceded in death by his siblings, Judy Williams, Jerry Cook, Eddie Cook; and grandson, Christopher Weldon McElveen.

 

     Survivors include his children, Ava Freeman of Patrick, SC and her mother, Kathy, Amber (Michael) Cook of Patrick, SC, Eddie Cook of Patrick, SC, Joshua (Jessica) Cook of Patrick, SC; grandchildren, Brooke Perkins of Florence, SC, Gabriel Leija of Patrick, SC, Paislee Cook of Patrick, SC, Joshua Johnson of Chesterfield, SC; siblings, Sue (Michael) Johnson of Chesterfield, SC, Betty Outlaw of Lawrenceville, GA, Lisa (Mark Giddings) Corbett of Myrtle Beach, SC; and numerous nieces and nephews.  

 

Memorials may be made to Miller-Rivers-Caulder Funeral Home, 318 E. Main St. Chesterfield, SC 29709, to assist the family.
