FUNERAL SERVICE: 3:00 PM, Wednesday, December 3, 2008 at Miller-Rivers-Caulder Funeral Home Chapel

INTERMENT: will follow in the Fairview Baptist Church Cemetery

VISITATION: 2:00 - 3:00 prior to the service at the church

HISTORY: Mr. Gibson was born October 15, 1935 in Ruby, SC a son of the late John C. "Lummie" and Bertha Cleo Kirkley Gibson. He was a retired employee of Cannon Mills and was a U.S. Army Veteran. Mr. Gibson was a member of Fairview Baptist Church and attended Liberty Baptist Church. Son was married to the late Sara Griggs Gibson and was also preceded in death by three brothers, J. Harold, Ronnie, and Theron "Bate" Gibson; and by four sisters, Jean Rhynes, Genora Faile, Brenda Gibson, and Clara Gibson.
