James "JD" Lacy Davis

James “JD” Lacy Davis, 67, of 738 N. Green River Road, went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, February 11, 2023 at White Oak North Grove.

  Born in Chesterfield, he was the husband of Lisa Mabry Davis and the son of the late Lacy Leward “Creek” Davis and Betty Irene Eddins Davis. He was a graduate of Clemson University and the former owner/operator of Pride Masonry. Mr. Davis was a member of Friendship United Methodist Church and attended Macedonia Baptist Church.

  Surviving is a son, Connor Seay of Summerville; three daughters, Abbie Seay of Atlanta, GA, Claire Seay of Conway and Arie Kate Davis of the home; a brother, Tim Davis of Chesterfield; a sister, Kathy Goodale of Timmonsville; and numerous nieces and nephews. 

  The family will receive friends from 3:00PM until 4:00PM on Monday, February 13, 2023 at Macedonia Baptist Church. A memorial service will immediately follow at 4:00PM at the church with Dr. Terry Duvall and Reverend Bryon McIntyre officiating.
