DECEASED: Mr. James S. "Jamie" Stroud, age 78, died Wednesday, April 29, 2009 at his home

FUNERAL SERVICE: 5:00 PM, Friday, May 1, 2009 at Brown Springs Baptist Church

INTERMENT: to follow in the church cemetery

VISITATION: will be Thursday, April 30, 2009, after 2:00 PM, at the home of Clyde and Robin Stroud, 741 Patrick Fire Tower Road, Patrick, SC

HISTORY: Mr. Stroud was born August 3, 1930 in Patrick, SC a son of the late David Calvin "Cal" and Nealy Cornelius Huggins Stroud. He was a retired employee of Delta Mills with 42 years of service. Jamie was an avid hunter and enjoyed music and dancing. In addition to his parents, Jamie was preceded in death by his wife Ruby Mae Tyner Stroud; two brothers, Tom and Harrison Stroud; and by three sisters, Dale Helms, Agnes Crawford, and Essie Tolson.

2 Sons: Darrell Stroud and Mitchell Stroud of Patrick, SC
2 Sisters: Louise Stroud and Sue Jordan of Patrick, SC
Also 7 Grandchildren, 2 Great Grandchildren, and a number of Nieces and Nephews
