James L. "Jimmy" Drew, Sr.

Mr. James L. “Jimmy” Drew, Sr., age 68, entered into rest on Saturday, June 9, 2018. Funeral Services will be 4:00 PM Monday, June 11, 2018 from the Chapel of Miller-Rivers-Caulder Funeral Home by Brent Taylor with burial to follow in the Green Hill Church of God of Prophecy Cemetery, Hartsville, SC. The family will greet friends Monday afternoon from 3:00 – 4:00 PM prior to the service at the funeral home.

Mr. Drew was born January 7, 1950 in Marion County, SC a son of the late Edward Lamar and Virginia Smith Drew. He was a self-employed master electrician who always kept a project going. A devoted family man, Jimmy enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren and always enjoyed a trip to Lowes, Home Depot, or Tractor Supply.

In addition to his parents, Jimmy was also preceded in death by a grandson, Jonthan Taylor Drew; brother, Ronnie Drew; and sister, Judy Brunson.

Survivors include his wife of 13 years, Rhonda B. Drew of the home; sons, James (April) Drew of Bethune, SC, Charlie (Renee) Drew, Andy Drew, and Sammy Drew all of McBee, SC, and Stephen Miller of Ruby, SC; daughters, Ashley (John Marshall) McLain of Chesterfield, SC, and Tera Miller of Ruby, SC; brothers, Jack Drew of Bethune, SC, Dennis (Mary) Drew of McBee, SC, and Donnie (Tammy) Drew of Mt. Pleasant, SC; sisters, Gloria (J.D.) Tyner, and Ann Campbell both of Hartsville, SC, Bonnie Faye Icard of Hickory, NC, and Margaret Campbell of Darlington, SC; grandchildren, Genifer (Tony) Hayes, Sonia, Jamie, Brandon, and Haylee Drew, Mason and Marshall McLain, Kayla, Maycee, and Sophie Drew, Aiden Miller, Angel and Grace Mears, Jordan, Alyssa, and Adam Hayes; close friends, Junior Faulkenberry, Buster Smith, Robert Watford, and Bryan Williams.
