James Roachel Eason, Jr.

Mr. James Roachel Eason, Jr., age 56, entered into rest on Friday, July 8, 2022. Funeral services will be 4:00 PM Wednesday, July 13, 2022 from the Chapel of Miller-Rivers-Caulder Funeral Home with burial to follow in the Oak Grove Church Cemetery. The family will greet friends from 3:00 – 4:00 PM Wednesday prior to the service at the funeral home.

Mr. Eason was born in Chesterfield County, SC a son of the late James Roachel and Irene Black Eason. He was a brick mason who enjoyed fishing, riding 4-wheelers, and enjoying life. His greatest enjoyment was being “Paw-Paw” to his grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Eason was also preceded in death by his brother, Donald Eason; sister, Judy Wallace; and son, James “Richard” Eason.

Survivors include his children, Christine (Matt) Busby of Pageland, SC, Mitchell (Meagan) Starnes of Lancaster, SC, and Christopher “Lil Man” (Paige) Eason of Pageland, SC; grandchildren, Logan Eason, Kayne Busby, Ryleigh Busby, Leah Eason, Koby Geiger, Aubree Eason, Maddie Eason, Layla Eason, Hannah Starnes, and Emily Starnes; 3 sisters, Margaret (Louis) Eason of Jefferson, SC, Debbie Sue (Tim) Melton of Ruby, SC, and Susan Rodriguez of Pageland, SC; nieces and nephews including special niece, Debrea Eason.
