James “Trey” LaBrue Lambert, III, passed away Monday, March 7, 2022 in Bowling Green, Kentucky.

He was born on January 29, 1989 at North Trident Hospital in North Charleston, South Carolina, to Rev. Jimmy and Tame’ Lambert. As a child, Trey grew up in Cheraw, SC and attended Cheraw High School where he played an array of sports, of which football was his favorite. He will forever be a Cheraw Brave and avid Gamecocks fan. After graduating, he attended Emmanuel College in Franklin Springs, Georgia and later Southwestern Christian University in Bethany, Oklahoma. Trey was a current member of Crossland Community Church in Bowling Green, Kentucky. He was also a master level mechanic technician for Better Built Machines in Shelbyville, Kentucky. Although he was skilled in mechanics, worshiping Jesus was his passion. As a gifted musician and vocalist, Trey loved to worship the Lord and sing to his family, whom he loved immensely. He never met a stranger and always made you feel welcomed. He loved to laugh and took every opportunity to always make you smile.

Those left to cherish his memory are: his wife, Malia Leilani Mae Odom Lambert, his children, Adalyn “Addy Girl” Ehilina’iaku, Blakely Mae Ku’uleimailelauli’i, Charlotte Ruth Ku’uleialoha, and James “Jay” LaBrue Lambert IV, his parents, Rev.
