Mrs. Janet Grant Lewis, age 55, died Sunday, September 4, 2016. Funeral Services will be 4:00 PM Wednesday, September 7, 2016 at Lighthouse Ministries by Pastor Glenn Scott White and Rev. Kenneth Bryant with burial to follow in the Patrick Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 7:00 – 9:00 PM Tuesday, September 6, 2016 at Miller-Rivers-Caulder Funeral Home.

Mrs. Lewis was born September 23, 1960 in Bennettsville, SC a daughter of the late LeRoy and Frances Chavis Grant. She was employed with Carl’s Food Center of Bennettsville as Produce Manager. Mrs. Lewis attended Lighthouse Ministries and enjoyed shopping and spending time with her family. Her favorite time of the year was Christmas and she enjoyed giving gifts to all her family and friends.

In addition her parents Janet was also preceded in death by her husband, Richard P. “Rick” Lewis; and 1 brother, Sammy Grant.

Survivors include her special friend, Kenny Hattabaugh of Columbia, SC; beloved son, Roy Shelley of Bennettsville, SC; stepson, Richard D. Lewis of Patrick, SC; 3 grandchildren, Hunner Shelley, Adrian Lewis and Alliyah Lewis; brother, Frankie Grant of Bennettsville, SC; sisters, Lanthy Grooms (Tim Therrell) Meggs of Patrick, SC, Vickie (Randy) Gainey of Clio, SC, Teresa (Johnny) Brigman of Laurinburg, NC, Kathy (Paul) Ward of McColl, SC, and Tracy (Don) Cummings of Bennettsville, SC; Special friends and caregivers, Shannon Griggs, Torrie Griggs, Lisa Shelley, and Linda Weatherford; and her pets whom she loved so much, “Angel”, “Duck”, “Sugar”, “Sissy”, and Mrs. Linda’s dog, “Sweety”.
