Ms. Janet Polson Jordan, age 45, entered into rest on Tuesday, June 19, 2018. Funeral Services will be 4:00 PM Friday, June 22, 2018 at Pine Grove Baptist Church by Pastor Doug Anderson with the eulogy being delivered by Heath Milligan. The burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 – 8:00 PM Thursday, June 21, 2018 at Miller-Rivers-Caulder Funeral Home.

Ms. Jordan was born March 27, 1973 in Chesterfield, SC a daughter of the late Jerald Polson, Sr. and Troyene Bailey Polson. A 1991 graduate of Chesterfield High School, Janet went on to attain her Associate’s degree from Northeastern Technical College and her Master’s degree from Gardner Webb University. Ms. Jordan was an accounting professor with Northeastern Technical College and loved teaching and investing her time and knowledge into her students. A member of Pine Grove Baptist Church, Janet was a talented soloist who blessed many people singing about the Lord. She was an avid Chesterfield High School Rams football fan and was proud of her family.

Survivors include her children, Donald (Teresa) Jordan, Jr., John Jordan, and Katelynn Jordan, and their father, Donald Jordan, Sr. all of Chesterfield, SC; brothers, Jerald Polson, Jr. of Wallace, SC, and Chris (Joanna) Polson of Cheraw, SC; brother of the heart, Heath Gibson of Chesterfield, SC; also numerous nieces and nephews.

Memorials may be made to Miller-Rivers-Caulder Funeral Home, 318 E. Main Street, Chesterfield, SC 29709 to assist the family.
