Jani Johnson

Mrs. Jani King Johnson, age 51, entered into rest on Thursday, October 4, 2018. Funeral Services will be 4:00 PM Sunday, October 7, 2018 at Brock’s Mill Baptist Church by Pastor Donald Wallace, Jr. with burial to follow in the church cemetery. The family will greet friends Sunday from 3:00 – 4:00 PM prior to the service in the fellowship hall of the church.

Mrs. Johnson was born January 4, 1967 in New York, NY a daughter of Anna Jane Caulder King and the late Grady King. She was a former employee of Carolina Restaurant and Huddle House of Cheraw. A member of Brock’s Mill Baptist Church, Jani enjoyed music and was a talented singer. Her hobbies included cooking, watching tv, and talking. She will be fondly remembered as a lady who never met a stranger and loved spending time with her grandchildren.

In addition to her father, Jani was also preceded in death by her first husband, Steven Parker.

Survivors include her husband, Wendell Johnson of the home; 2 sons, Scott (Felicia) Parker of Ruby, SC, and Josh Parker of Greenville, SC; grandchildren, Carson, Bryce, Coby, and C.J.; mother, Anna Jane King of Cheraw, SC; brothers, Danny (Cindy) King of Laurel Hill, NC, and Brian (Becky) King of Simpsonville, SC.
