Jason J. Oliver

Chesterfield, SC

          Mr. Jason J. Oliver, age 41, affectionately known to many as, "Willie" entered into rest on Friday, August 25, 2023 with his family by his side. A Celebration of Life service will be 5:00 PM Monday, August 28, 2023 from the Chapel of Miller-Rivers-Caulder Funeral Home by Pastor Ronnie Moore and Brent Taylor. The family will greet friends from 4:00 – 5:00 PM Monday, prior to the service at the funeral home. A private burial will take place in the Hopewell Baptist Church Cemetery at a later date.

          Mr. Oliver was born February 6, 1982 in Darlington, SC a son of Joel Claude and Joy Kissiah Oliver. He was a graduate of Chesterfield High School, Class of 2000, and a former employee of Santee Cooper Electric. Jason enjoyed horses and working on antique tractors. A young man who always faced life with a smile and his trademark laugh, Jason never met a stranger and always enjoyed time spent with friends.

          Mr. Oliver was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Claude and Frances Oliver; maternal grandparents, Pat and Lib Kissiah; and uncles, Johnny Kissiah, and Jeff Oliver.

          Survivors include his sons, Baylor Oliver, and Dustin Oliver; and their mother, Jessie Oliver all of Chesterfield, SC; parents, Joel “Weasel” & Joy Oliver of Chesterfield, SC; in addition to numerous extended family members and a host of friends.
