Jason "Junior" Hodge

Ruby, SC

Mr. Jason Junior Hodge, age 81, entered into rest on Saturday, December 4, 2021 at his home. Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Wednesday, December 8, 2021 from the Chapel of Miller-Rivers-Caulder Funeral Home by Brent Taylor with burial to follow in the Pine View Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will greet friends from 6:00 – 8:00 PM Tuesday, December 7, 2021 at the funeral home.

Mr. Hodge was born on May 26, 1940 in Ruby, SC a son of the late Jason and Lela Sarah Frances Brock Hodge. He was a retired employee of Pageland Screen Printers with over 30 years of service. Junior enjoyed attending Chesterfield Church of God and listening to bluegrass music. He also enjoyed pulling for the Arizona Cardinals football team, watching westerns, playing horseshoes, and loved a good chew of tobacco.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Hodge was also preceded in death by a brother, Floyd Hodge; and sisters, Daisy Jordan, Mary Campbell, Geneva Hodge, Leona Hodge, and Rita Mills.

Survivors include his brothers, Jerry (Glora) Hodge, and Billy (Deborah) Hodge both of Ruby, SC; sisters, Bonnie (Jimmy) Wallace of Ruby, SC, and Cathy Jordan of Aberdeen, NC; and numerous nieces and nephews.
