Jean Hayes Jackson, 77, passed away Wednesday, November 29, 2023, at her residence surrounded by her family.

Born May 26, 1946, in Blenheim, SC, she was a daughter of the late James Delton and Annie Mae Williams Hayes. Mrs. Jean was a graduate of Lower Marlboro High School in Blenheim and was a member of Salem Baptist Church. She enjoyed taking care of her family and shopping.

She was preceded in death by her parents listed above, husband, Curtis Harold Jackson, Sr., stepfather, Marion Peacock, brother, Milton Hayes, sister, Helen H. Kimrey.

Mrs. Jean is survived by her son, Curtis “Rusty” Harold Jackson, Jr. of Cheraw, daughters, Robin Jackson Allison (David) of Cheraw and Rhonda Jill Jackson Skipper (Randy) of Chesterfield, brothers, Tommy Hayes (Patricia) of Bennettsville and John Hayes (Sue) of Blenheim, sisters, Linda Leviner of Bennettsville, Marie Powell of Blenheim, and Janice Munnerlyn (Jerry) of Blenheim, grandchildren, Lauren Jones, Carrington Jackson, Grayson Jackson, Cam Allison (Gracen), Hunter Allison (Amy), Mikayla Steen, Curtis Skipper, and Kinleigh Skipper, great grandchildren, Landon Hannah, Luna Rivers, and Harper Allison.

A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Monday, December 4, 2023, at Salem Baptist Church, with burial to follow in the church cemetery. A visitation will be held Sunday, December 3, 2023, from 6-8pm at Burroughs Funeral Home.
