HISTORY: Mrs. Hodge was born February 20, 1921 in Morven, NC a daughter of the late Ervin and Martha Liza Purvis Brock. She was a retired employee of Chesterfield Yarn Mill and was a member of the Pageland Church of Christ. In addition to her parents, Jennette was also preceded in death by her husband Johnnie "Son" Hodge; 1 daughter, Nyokia Melton; 2 brothers, Oscar and George Brock; 6 sisters, Lelia Hodge, Christine Brock, Willie Mae Hodge, Catherine Threadgill, Mary Deese, and Naomi Brock; and one great granddaughter, Hope Roscoe Melton.

5 Sons: Asia (Margie) Hodge of Ruby, SC, Homer (Rachel) Hodge of Ruby, SC, Charles (Reba) Hodge of Lancaster, SC, Rex (Jackie) Hodge of Chesterfield, SC, and Wayne (Shirley) Hodge of Ruby, SC
5 Daughters: Audrey (Bob) Parker of Ruby, SC, Bonnie (Pete) Parsons of St. Petersburg Fl, Louise (Maynard) Hancock of Ruby, SC, Betty Boatwright of Columbia, SC, and Judy Campbell of Chesterfield, SC
Also: 27 Grandchildren, 30 Great Grandchildren, and 22 Great Great Grandchildren
