Mr. Jerry Wayne Hinson, age 72, died Tuesday, July 26, 2016. The family will host a private memorial service at a later date.

Mr. Hinson was born October 23, 1943 in Monroe, NC a son of the late Haywood Eugene and Sara Johnson Hinson. He was a U.S. Army Veteran and a retired truck driver. Jerry Wayne enjoyed riding motorcycles and collecting guns.

In addition to his parents, Jerry Wayne was also preceded in death by 1 brother, Danny Hinson; and 1 sister, Sandra Hinson.

Survivors include his children, Donna Willette of Myrtle Beach, SC, and Pauline “Gail” Morris of Cheraw, SC; 2 grandchildren, Austin Willette of Myrtle Beach, SC, and Carmen Yancey of Cheraw, SC; siblings, Sue Phillips and husband Larry of Matthew, NC, Sylvia McAlister and husband Carlin, and Johnny Hinson both of Boquete, Panama, Gene Hinson, Jr. of Jefferson, SC, William Hinson and wife Cynthia of Loris, SC, Beth Fessler and husband Mike of Maryland, and Denise Hinson Lisenby of Chesterfield, SC; also numerous nieces and nephews.
