Jerry "Jay" Clifton Brown, Jr.

Jerry “Jay” Clifton Brown Jr., 43, died Wednesday, March 2, 2023 at his home in Florence.

     Mr. Brown was born July 23, 1979, in Sumter, SC. He is the son of Jean Easler Brown, and the late Jerry Clifton Brown Sr. Jay was a graduate of Williamsburg Academy. He enjoyed working with his father at Lane Pole Company.

     He grew up enjoying hunting and spending time with his family and friends. Jay also enjoyed working in shipping throughout his work career.

     Surviving Mr. Brown along with his mother, Jean Easler Brown are his children; daughters, Sarah Elizabeth Brown of Tennessee , Alice-Ann Lea Brown, his son; David Clifton Brown, both of Ruby, SC, a sister, Tiffany Nicole Brown, a niece, Avery Jean Brown; a significant other, Kendra Stokes Keels and her sons all of Florence and numerous aunts, uncles cousins and friends.
