Jerry Loflin

Mr. Jerry Allen Loflin, age 70, entered into rest on Thursday, November 24, 2016. The family will receive friends Sunday, November 27, 2016 from 6:00 – 8:00 PM at Miller-Rivers-Caulder Funeral Home and at other times at the home of Sarah Loflin, 517 Macedonia Church Rd, Cheraw, SC. A private family committal service will be held at Pleasant Hill Baptist Church Cemetery.

Mr. Loflin was born May 18, 1946 in Chesterfield, SC a son of the late Raymond and Elizabeth Johnson Loflin. He was a former employee of Klopman Mills and was an auto mechanic. Jerry enjoyed spending time with his family and watching westerns.

In addition to his parents, Jerry was also preceded in death by a great grandson, Josh Ratliff; and 2 brothers, Richard and Donnie Loflin.

Survivors include his children, Teresa Medina of Myrtle Beach, SC, Richard (Kim) Loflin of Darlington, SC, and Sandy Loflin of Charlotte, NC; and their mother, Vickie Gaskins of Chesterfield, SC; grandchildren, Tristin (Adam) Rice of Myrtle Beach, SC, Megan Loflin and Braxton Loflin both of Charlotte, NC and Aspen Loflin of Darlington, SC, Michelle (Bubba) Wallace of Chesterfield, SC, Renee (Jack) Knight of Cheraw, SC, and Bo Bo (Cindy) Driggers of Wallace, SC; great grandchildren, Mabry and Easton Rice; Dena Ratliff, Kim Knight, Drew Knight, and Emalyn Melton; brothers, Julius Loflin of Cheraw, SC, and Herbert (Sarah) Loflin of Cheraw, SC, and their children, Michelle (Vincent James) Loflin and Sam Loflin; sister, Linda Baker of N. Myrtle Beach, SC; also numerous nieces and nephews.
