HISTORY: Mr. Middleton was born April 19, 1937 in Jefferson, SC a son of the late Early Alson and Winnie Knight Middleton. He was a retired supervisor with Kendall / International Paper of Bethune with 36 years of service. Mr. Middleton was a lifelong member of Macedonia Baptist Church, where he served as Deacon, former choir member, member of the Middleton Quartet, and served as Church Treasurer for over 40 years. He enjoyed farming, working in his garden, and watching the Atlanta Braves. His favorite pastime through the years was watching his children and grandchildren play sports. In addition to his parents, Jerry was also preceded in death by 2 sisters, Nettie Mae Smith, and Opal Middleton; and 6 brothers, Hazel, Paul, C.S. "Buddy", William, Leroy, and Donald Middleton.

3 Daughters: Karen Middleton of Sylva, NC, Ellen Middleton, and Julia (Marty) McKenzie both of Jefferson, SC
2 Grandsons: Thomas and Zach Middleton of Jefferson, SC
1 Brother: O'Berry Middleton of Jefferson, SC
Sisters-in-law: Evelyn Middleton of Charlotte, NC, Willie Faye Middleton of Jefferson, SC, and June (Larry) Stroud of Lancaster, SC
Brother-in-law: Earl (Jo Ann) Hinson of Lancaster, SC
