Jerry Ray Hodge

Ruby, SC

     Mr. Jerry Ray Hodge, age 72, went home to be with his Lord on Monday, November 18, 2024. A graveside service will be 3:30 PM Wednesday, Noveber 27, 2024 in the Pineview Baptist Church Cemetery by Reverend Wayne Hodge. The family will greet friends from 2:00 to 3:00 PM prior to the service at Miller-Rivers-Caulder Funeral Home.

     Mr. Hodge was born April 6, 1952 in Chesterfield County, SC. He was the son of the late Jason and Lela Sarah Frances Brock Hodge. Jerry was born a farmer. He plowed fields with his mule at 7 years old. Later in life he went on to Pageland Screen Printing before retiring from Combraco. He was also a member of the Chesterfield Church of God. Jerry was well loved by everyone he met. 

     In addition to his parents, Mr. Hodge was preceded in death by his siblings, Jason Junior Hodge, Floyd Ervin Hodge, Genuva Hodge, Daisy Jordan, Rita Mills, Mary Campbell, Leona Hodge; and grandson, Preston Lane Lowery.

Survivors include his wife, Glora Hodge; children, Charles (April) Jones, Steven Jones, Amanda Lowery, Jordan Jones; 11 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren; siblings, Billy (Deborah) Hodge, Bonnie (Jimmy) Wallace, Cathy Jordan; numerous nieces and nephews. 

 In Lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the charity of one’s choice.
