Mr. Jerry Christopher “Chris” Plyler, age 50, entered into rest on Tuesday, February 6, 2018. Funeral Services will be 3:00 PM Friday, February 9, 2018 at Calvary Baptist Church by Pastor Jackie Bailey, Rev. Charles Terry and the eulogy will be delivered by his son, Damian Plyler with burial to follow in the church cemetery. The family will greet friends from 2:00 – 3:00 PM prior to the service in the sanctuary of the church.

Mr. Plyler was born November 4, 1967 in Lancaster, SC a son of Betty Terry Plyler and Jerry Plyler. He was a self-employed contractor who was a true handyman that could work on anything. Chris was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting and fishing. He also enjoyed listening to music, but his greatest pastime was spending time with his grandson, Malachi. He was preceded in death by his step-father, Gerald L. Knight; and niece, Autumn Plyler.

Survivors include his 3 children, Damian Plyler of Jefferson, SC, Jessica (Joel) Tolber of Switzerland, and Azilee Plyler of Kershaw, SC; mother, Betty Plyler of Jefferson, SC; father, Jerry Plyler of St. Matthews, SC; grandchildren, Malachi Plyler of Pageland, SC and one grandchild soon to be arriving; brother, Jamie Plyler of Jefferson, SC; 1 sister, Renea (Jeff) Cox of Monroe, NC; also numerous nieces and nephews.

Memorials may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
