Mr. Jerry Dean Rivers, age 68, entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, January 19, 2022. The family will hold a private memorial service at a later date. Friends are welcome to stop by the funeral home and sign a register book or leave an online condolence. All online condolences will be forwarded to the family.

Mr. Rivers was born May 22, 1953 in Chesterfield County, SC a son of the late Jack Royce and Peggy Gaskins Rivers. Jerry enjoyed spending his time raising his chickens and helping on his son’s farm. He enjoyed hunting with his family and spending all his time with his grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Rivers was preceded in death by his grandson, Jeffrey Taylor.

Survivors include his wife of 26 years, Jackie Rivers of the home; children, Joe (Dottie) Rivers of Chesterfield, SC, David (Jennifer) Lucas of Rock Hill, SC, and Lisa (Alan) Lovette of Rock Hill, SC; grandchildren, Travis, Neil, Corbin, Jeffrey, David, Brittney, Nikki, Rebecca, Breanna, Dawn, Madeline, and Katlyn; great-grandchildren, Reagan, Brantley, Trinity, Madison, Riley, Emma, Daniella, Jordyn, Karmenne, Za’den, Ma’Kayla, Brooklyn, Makynsie, Olivia, and James; brother, Ronnie Rivers of Chesterfield, SC; sister, Gail Rivers; in addition to numerous aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the charity of one’s choice.
