Jerry Grant Benefiel

Mr. Jerry Grant Benefiel, age 69, entered into rest at his home. The family will hold a private graveside service at a later date.

Mr. Benefiel was born August 16, 1950 in Fort Sill, OK a son of the late James Grant and Lois “Barbara” Rayfield Benefiel. Jerry attended Converse College and enjoyed following politics. He was known for his intelligent political mind and would often speak of his political views. Jerry enjoyed working cross word puzzles to keep his mind sharp.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Benefiel was also preceded in death by his brother-in-law, Jerry Privette.

Survivors include his sister, Kathy Privette of Chesterfield, SC; nephews, Daniel (Tracy) Privette, and Joseph (Nikki) Privette both of Chesterfield, SC; and numerous cousins and friends.
