Mr. Jerry Neal Sullivan, age 76, entered into rest on Tuesday, July 28, 2020 at his home. Funeral services will be 5:00 PM Thursday, July 30, 2020 from the chapel of Miller-Rivers-Caulder Funeral Home by Pastor Tommy Moser. The family will greet friends from 4:00 – 5:00 PM Thursday, prior to the service at the funeral home.

Mr. Sullivan was born December 16, 1943 in Chesterfield County, SC a son of the late Chap L. and Bessie Pittman Sullivan. He was a retired employee of Dixie Lawn Service of Gastonia, NC, a former employee of SC D.O.T with over 9 years of service, and Cannon Mills with over 20 years of service. Jerry was a member of Twin Pines Freewill Baptist Church. A true outdoorsman, he enjoyed working with his tractor, gardening, and farming.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Sullivan was also preceded in death by his son, Melvin “Gene” Davis; brothers, Wilson, David, and Everett Sullivan; sisters, Letha Donahue, Beatrice Allen, Dorothy Huggins, Yvonne Steen, Gladys Lear, and Elma S. McKinny.

Survivors include his wife, Libby H. Sullivan of the home; sons, Cecil N. Sullivan of Jefferson, SC, Harvey P. (Tina) Sullivan of Lexington, NC, Stanley (Vicky) Sullivan of Albemarle, NC, and Billy Honeycutt of Jefferson, SC; daughter, Virginia D. (James) Coombes of Jefferson, SC; grandchildren, Ashley (Donnell) Thomas, Michael Sullivan, Tiffany Sullivan, Devin Mills, Jackie (Lori) Williams, Troy Curry, Tara Correia, Justin Sullivan, Kyle Sullivan, Daniel Sullivan, Amanda Sullivan, and Michael Sullivan; great-grandchildren, Camren Sullivan, Isaiah and Emily Thomas, Dalton and Gracie Sullivan, Oakley Waisner, Zane Correia, Rave Correia; brother, Arizona Sullivan of Fort Mill, SC; sisters, Joyce S. Wilson of Indian Land, SC, and Linda (Kenny) Jenkins of Mt. Croghan, SC; and numerous nieces and nephews.

The family would like to express their appreciation to the staff of Kindred at Home, and Regency SouthernCare Hospice of Chesterfield for their love and care shown to Mr. Sullivan and his family.
