DECEASED: Mr. Jesse S. Roberts, age 84, died Wednesday, August 5, 2015.

SERVICE OF CELEBRATION: 2:00 P.M. Saturday, August 8, 2015 at Miller-Rivers-Caulder Funeral Home Chapel, Chesterfield, SC

VISITATION: 1:00 – 2:00 P.M. Saturday, August 8, 2015 prior to the service at the Funeral Home.

HISTORY: Mr. Roberts was born September 24, 1930, in Eastover, SC, a son of the late
Spergion and Helen Neal Roberts. He attended Welding School in Columbia, SC, and was a farmer and welder, and former owner of Robert's Fabricating. Jesse was also a former employee of INA USA and was a retired Chesterfield County landfill operator. He was a U.S. Army Veteran of the Korean War, having served in the 82nd Airborne Division. Jesse was also a member of the American Legion Post 74, First Baptist Church of Cheraw and the Friendship Sunday School Class. In addition to his parents, Jesse was also preceded in death by a sister, Christine Warren, his brothers, Frank, Neal, and A. J. Roberts, and by a brother-in-law, Lawson Sellers
