Mr. Jimmy Dell Ott Sr, age 69, entered into rest on Monday, Oct. 9, 2023. The family will hold a memorial service on Friday, October 13, 2023 at 1:00 PM at Garden Road Independent Baptist Church, 3103 Garden Road Wallace, SC.

Mr. Ott was born August 18, 1954 in Chester, South Carolina, a son of the late Walter and Isabelle Craig Ott. Jimmy enjoyed hunting, fishing, piddling, and watching television. He loved his family more than anything. Jimmy also enjoyed being outdoors and was always happy.

In addition to his parents, Jimmy was preceded in death by his siblings, David Ott, Eugene Ott, Harold Ott, Mikey Ott, Jeynelle Klingbile, Yvonne Boone, and Rachel Woods.

Survivors include his wife of 28 years, Robyn Ott of the home; sons, Jimmy Dell Ott Jr. of Rockingham, NC, Timmy Ott of Rockingham, NC, Jamie (Sandra) Ott of Hamlet, NC, Robert (Meagan) Ott of Lancaster, SC, Joseph (Brittany) Ott of Dunn, NC; Stephen Alexander Messer of Patrick, SC; daughter, Brittany Austin of Patrick, SC; grandchildren, Patrick Ott, Breanna Marshall, Cenia Marshall, Hannah Ott, Ayden Parker, Tyler Poplin, and Lexi Butler; brother, Gerald (Joverl) Ott of Winnsboro, NC; sister, Sarah Irene Sherrod of Winnsboro, SC, and sisters of the heart; Alma Lily and Lori Stone both of Cheraw, SC

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made to Miller-Rivers-Caulder Funeral Home to assist the family.
