HISTORY: Mr. Freeman was born August 7, 1935 in Ruby, SC a son of the late Atha Louis and Bessie Sutton Freeman. He was a graduate of Ruby High School Class of 1953, and was a retired employee with Chesterfield County Health Department. Jimmy was former owner and operator of Redfearn Feed and Seed. Mr. Freeman was a member of the Board of Directors at Lynches River Electric Cooperative for the past 14 years. He was a former member of the Chesterfield County Library Board, and was a member of Chesterfield Masonic Lodge 220. He was a lifelong member of White Oak Presbyterian Church, where he served as Elder and on various other Church Committees. Jimmy was an avid outdoorsman, and enjoyed farming, gardening, hunting, and buying and selling antique tractors. Most of all Jimmy loved people and helping others.

Wife of 55 years: Julieth "Teenie" Lisenby Freeman of the home
2 Sons: Michael (Phyllis) Freeman of Fayetteville, NC and Greg (Mary Jean) Freeman of Ruby, SC
1 Daughter: Ann (Dean) Chapman of Hartsville, SC
4 Grandchildren: Molly Freeman (Joey) Miller, Kendall Chapman, Jay Chapman, and Bessie Freeman
1 Sister: Atha Lou Gibson of Cheraw, SC
