Joan Jeannette Iams Antion

Chesterfield, SC 

Ms. Joan Jeannette Iams Antion, age 90, entered into rest on Friday, July 19, 2024. Graveside services will be 11:00 AM Wednesday, July 24, 2024 at Thompson Creek Baptist Church Cemetery by Pastor Ronald Thurman. The family will greet friends following the service at the cemetery. 

Ms. Antion was born December 17, 1933 in Pennsylvania, a daughter of the late John Thomas and Myrtle Craig Bittle Iams. She was a former employee of Saint Elizabeth Hospital in Lincoln, Nebraska. Joan enjoyed cooking and spending time with family.

In addition to her parents, Ms. Antion was also preceded in death by her daughter, Cindy Horne; son, Doug Horne; grandson, Josh Horne; and brother, Jack Iams and Paul Iams. 

Survivors include her son, Robert “Bob” Antion of Lenoir City, TN; son-in-law, Art Horne of Chesterfield, SC; grandchildren, Dominic Horne, Sarah Horne, Rachel Antion, Becky Antion; great grandchildren, Johanna Horne; brother, Bill (Debbie) Iams of Loudon, TN; sister-in-law, Claudia Iams of Washington, PA.
