VISITATION: 6:00 - 8:00 PM Sunday, April 20, 2008 at the First Freewill Baptist Church.

HISTORY:
Mrs. West was born February 22, 1945 in Lancaster County, SC a daughter of Susie Knight Laney and the late Minor Laney. She was a patient caregiver. Mrs. West was a faithful charter member of the First Freewill Baptist Church, where she served as Sunday school teacher, Church treasurer, and Choir director for over 30 years. Joann was married to the late Reverend William Junior West.

1 Son: Stanley (Sandra) West of Pageland, SC.

2 Daughters: Sandra F. West and Tony McManus and Janice W. (Mike) Cook both of Pageland, SC

Mother: Susie K. Laney of Pageland, SC

5 Grandchildren: Josh and Jill West, Tina (Paul) Black, and Stacy and Tony McManus

3 Brothers: Roy Laney of Pageland, SC, Bill Laney of Lancaster, SC, and Richard Laney of Pageland, SC.

3 Sisters: Louise Nichols of Pageland, SC, Frances Stevens of Lancaster, SC, and Carolyn Oliver of Jefferson, SC
