Services for Joanna “Jo” Margaret Gainey age 74 will be held 2:00pm Thursday at the Chapel of Norton Funeral Home.  Burial will be in Union United Methodist Church Cemetery.  Visitation will be he held one hour prior to the services at the funeral home.

Jo passed away on Monday, March 23, 2020 at her residence surrounded by her loving family.  She was born Aberdeen, SD to the late Elmer and Katherine Blondo McElhone.  She enjoyed reading, bowling and loved spending time with her family.

Left to cherish her memory are her daughter, Tammy (Richard Brinkman) Withrow Haynes, Ashe, NC; sons, Bobby Withrow, McBee, Jerry (Tammy) Withrow, Jefferson, Troy (Lisa) Ellifrits, Hartsville, Jimmy (Shana) Ellifrits, McBee; twenty-five grandchildren, twenty-eight great grandchildren, one great great grandchild; sister, Judy (Ronnie) Sullivan, McBee; brother, Jim McElhone, Tucson, AZ.

She was preceded in death by a son, Steven LeRoy Withrow and a brother, William (Bill) McElhone.
