Mrs. Jo Ann Earl Pierce, age 71, entered into rest on Friday, December 21, 2018 at her home. Funeral Services will be 2:00 PM Thursday, December 27, 2018 from the Chapel of Miller-Rivers-Caulder Funeral Home by Rev. Pete Gregory with burial to follow in the Mt. Moriah Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will greet friends from 1:00 – 2:00 PM Thursday prior to the service at the funeral home.

Mrs. Pierce was born March 18, 1947 in New York, a daughter of the late Ann Earl Steele. She was a homemaker and devoted wife of 50 years to the late, Michael David Pierce. She attended Rocky Creek Baptist Church, and her love was not only for her family but also her 4-legged family member, “Ginger” whom she loved spending time with.

Survivors include her children, Timothy (Brenda) Pierce of Chesterfield, SC, Annette (Danny) Evans of Ruby, SC, Tommy (Judy) Pierce, and Michael (Lisa) Pierce both of Hartsville, SC; grandchildren, Shannon Siquina, Kayla Pierce, R.L. Stack, Shasta Stack, Krista Walls, Teresa Bailey, Mikey Bailey, Cody Byrd, Kinsey Johnson, and Jenna Strickland; great-grandchildren, Maddison Walls, Preston Johnson, Austin Thurman, Chance Thurman, Blayden Thurman, Lila Stack, Ashlyn Stack, Lucas Stack, Daylan Kissiah, Jaylan Kissiah, Amelia Zearfoss, and Bailey Zearfoss; and 2 brothers, John (Celeste) Earl, and Jimmy Earl both of Kannapolis, NC.
