FUNERAL SERVICE: 4:00 P.M. Wednesday, September 26, 2012 at Miller-Rivers-Caulder Funeral Home Chapel, Chesterfield, SC

INTERMENT: to follow in the Long Branch Baptist Church Cemetery

VISITATION: 3:00 - 4:00 P.M. Wednesday, September 26, 2012, prior to the service at
the Funeral Home

HISTORY: Mr. Brown was born October 31, 1926, in Jefferson, SC, a son of the late Archie and Emma Sue Hancock Brown. John traveled the United States for 29 years as a painting contractor, working on various military bases, and retired at the age of 74. John was a gentle man who was loved by all. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by a daughter, Margaret Brown Evans, a granddaughter, Teresa Marie Kimbrell, by 2 brothers, Pete and Bobby Brown, and by sisters, Helen B. Jordan and Doris Brown.

1 Son: John C. (Addie Mae) Brown, Jr. of Fort Mill, SC
3 Daughters: Jackie (C.C.) Munsey of Fort Mill, SC, Linda (Gerald) Kimbrell of Rock Hill, SC, and Joan Carol Tritt of Augusta, GA
1 Sister: Irene B. Price of Jefferson, SC
Also numerous Grandchildren, Great Grandchildren, Nieces and Nephews
