John Restivo

Mr. John Restivo, age 56, entered into rest on Monday, July 20, 2020. Funeral Services will be 2:00 PM Wednesday, July 22, 2020, at White Plains Baptist Church by Pastor Cory Joplin and Michael Medlin with burial to follow in the Jefferson Town Cemetery. The family will greet friends from 1:00-2:00 prior to the service at the church.

Mr. Restivo was born December 15, 1963, in Syosset, Long Island, New York, a son of the late Nicholas and Alice Smith Restivo.  He was a member of White Plains Baptist Church.  Known by his coworkers and friends at Conbraco Industries as “Julio”, he retired with over 30 years of service.  Mr. Restivo was an avid outdoorsman that grew up working on his family’s tomato farm.  He enjoyed singing, watching NASCAR on Sunday, and hosting football parties at his home; however, more than anything, he loved spending time with his family - his grandchildren were his pride and joy.  He loved his fur baby, “Tiny”, as well.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Restivo was preceded in death by his brother, Joe Restivo.

Survivors include his wife of 27 years, Angie Restivo, of the home; son, Shawn Ryan Restivo of Jefferson, SC; daughters, Alishia May (Anthony) Rowell of Jefferson, SC, and Jessica Marie (Kevin) Crawford of Jefferson, SC; 3 grandchildren, Landon, Malliah, and Jaxston; sisters, Terri (Jim) Andrewski of Conway, SC, Susan (Marty) Broome of Monroe, NC, and Doris (Dave Sergent) Henry of Charlotte, NC; sister-in-law, Janis Restivo of Cornelius, NC; and numerous nieces and nephews.
