HISTORY: Mr. Millsaps was born September 26, 1922 in Bryson City, NC a son of the late John and Mary Jane Laney Millsaps. He was a retired employee of Sonoco Products Company with 42 years of service and was a member of the Old Timer's Club. Mr. Millsaps was also former owner and operator of the Hill Top Night Club. Johnnie attended Patrick Baptist Church and served as former Scout Master with Patrick Baptist Church Boy Scout's Troop # 649. He was a U.S. Army Veteran of WWII, having served in the Army 30th Infantry Division. Johnnie enjoyed fishing, being a bee keeper, and selling honey. In addition to his parents, Johnnie was also preceded in death by his wife, Catherine Teal Millsaps; and by his son, Johnny A. Millsaps, Jr.

3 Daughters: Betty Sue Ralley and Rosa Lee Privette of Patrick, SC and Carolyn Millsaps of the home
Also 6 Grandchildren, 3 Great Grandchildren and 1 Great, Great Grandchild
