FUNERAL SERVICE: 3:00 PM, Thursday, October 18, 2012 at Lower Macedonia Baptist Church Family Life Center

INTERMENT: will follow in the Lower Macedonia Memorial Gardens

VISITATION: is 1:30 - 3:00 PM, Thursday, October 18, 2012 prior to the service at the Church

HISTORY: Mr. Eslick was born August 25, 1932 in Henryetta, OK a son of the late John Absent and Pearl Hamilton Eslick. He was a retired Sergeant with the U.S. Army with 24 years of service, having served during the the Korean War. Mr. Eslick was also a former Deputy Sheriff with the Chesterfield County Sheriff's Department. He was a member of the American Legion Post 74. Johnny was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, gardening, rodeos, trail riding on horses and mule and wagons, and best of all spending time with his grandchildren.

Wife of 47 years: Glynn Curry Eslick of the home
4 Sons: Johnny (Joan) Eslick, Jr. of Patrick, SC, Jimmy (Joan) Eslick of Eddy, TX, David (Natalie) Cooper of Abington, VA, and Bronson (Donna) Eslick of Patrick, SC
1 Daughter: Lucinda Eslick of Asheville, NC
10 Grandchildren: David, Waylon, Jonathan, James Jr., Crystal, Mark, Dustin, Shatara, BJ, and Liz
