Mr. Johnny Ray Williams, age 66, entered into rest on Thursday, June 11, 2020. Graveside services will be 1:00 PM Sunday, June 14, 2020 at Oakland Baptist Church Cemetery by Dr. Philip Hunter and Rev. Julian Cato.

Friends may stop by Miller-Rivers-Caulder Funeral Home on Sunday between the hours of 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM to pay their respects.

Mr. Williams was born July 13, 1953 in Chesterfield County, SC a son of Eva Jordan Evans and the late Boyd Williams. He was a U.S. Marine Corps Veteran of the Vietnam War and a member of the SC Army National Guard. He was a retired supervisor with DMV and a former employee of Cheraw Yarn Mills. Johnny was a member of Oakland Baptist Church where he was active in the monthly Men’s Fellowship Breakfast. He also enjoyed meeting new friends at the Jewel City Flea-Market.

In addition to his father, Johnny Ray was also preceded in death by his brother, Wayne Williams.

Survivors include his daughters, June (Justin) Avant of Hartsville, SC, and Joy Williams of Charlotte, NC; and their mother, Dianne Williams of Chesterfield, SC; grandchildren, Rivers and Tesla Avant; mother, Eva J. Evans of Chesterfield, SC; brothers, Jack Williams and Joe Williams both of Chesterfield, SC; sister, Vickie Davidson of Cheraw, SC; special friend, Leonisa Moore of Chesterfield, SC; and niece of the heart, Karley Evans.
