John Thomas "J.T." Hendricks

Mr. John Thomas “J.T.” Hendricks, age 62, entered into rest on Sunday, March 14, 2021 at his home. Graveside services will be 2:00 PM Sunday, March 21, 2021 at Lower Macedonia Memorial Gardens by Pastor Tracy Hinson and Dr. Lindsey Powell. The family will greet friends following the service at the cemetery.

Mr. Hendricks was born October 24, 1958 in France, a son of Genevia Brewington Hendricks and the late Robert Gerald Hendricks. He was a graduate of Chesterfield High School, Class of 1977, and a member of Lower Macedonia Baptist Church. J.T. worked in mechanical construction as a pipefitter. He enjoyed reading, fishing, and watching westerns.

In addition to his father, Mr. Hendricks was also preceded in death by his wife, Sabra Leonard Hendricks.

Survivors include his loving mother, Genevia B. Hendricks of Patrick, SC; 3 step-children, Christopher McCormick of Gaston, SC, Daniel McCormick of Greenville, SC, and Tyler (Heather) McCormick of Swansea, SC; step-grandchildren, Joshua McCormick, River McCormick, and Ryleigh McCormick; brothers, Robert L. (Colleen) Hendricks, and Daniel Scott Hendricks both of Patrick, SC.
