Joseph Michael "Joe" Gulledge

Ruby, SC

 Mr. Joseph “Joe” Michael Gulledge, age 70, entered into rest on Monday, December 2, 2024 at his home. Funeral services will be 3:00 PM Thursday, December 5, 2024 at Cross Roads Baptist Church by Pastor Max White and Reverend Beth H. Muse with burial to follow in the church cemetery. The family will greet friends from 5:00 - 7:00 PM Wednesday, December 4, 2024 at Miller-Rivers-Caulder Funeral Home. 

Born on February 16, 1954, in Mt. Croghan, South Carolina, Mr. Gulledge was the son of the late Cecil Lee “Bill” Gulledge and Emma Hancock Gulledge. He proudly served in the United States Navy and was a retired employee of Conbraco Industries. A member of Cross Roads Baptist Church, Joe enjoyed various hobbies including welding, working on his tractor, and running his sawmill.

 In addition to his parents, Mr. Gulledge was also preceded in death by his siblings, Billie Ruth McConnell, Jim Gulledge, Margaret Arlene Clay, Doris Ann Kemmerling, Mitchell Gulledge, and Ricky Gulledge. 

 Survivors include his sons, Adam Gulledge, and Zach Gulledge both of Ruby, SC; siblings, Harol Gulledge of Las Vegas, NV, Carol Gulledge of Latta, SC, and Debra Sue (James) Sellers of Mt. Croghan, SC; in addition to numerous nieces and nephews. 

 The family would like to express their heartfelt appreciation to the entire family of Heart & Hands II and the entire staff of Gentiva Hospice of Chesterfield.
