Joseph W. "Joey" Moore

          Mr. Joseph “Joey” Wellington Moore, age 56, entered into rest on Sunday, January 7, 2024. Funeral services will be 11:00 AM Thursday, January 11, 2024 from the Chapel of Miller-Rivers-Caulder Funeral Home by Brent Taylor with burial to follow in the Old St. David’s Cemetery. The family will greet friends immediately following the service at the cemetery.

          Mr. Moore was born January 21, 1967 in Cheraw, SC a son of the late Billy Joe and Jane Vernon Moore. He was a retired personnel manager with Sandhills Ambulance Service and a member of First Presbyterian Church of Cheraw. Joey enjoyed golfing, fast cars, all sports, and time spent at the beach with friends. He had a special place in his heart for his pets. Joey will be fondly remembered for his sense of humor and the ability to put a smile on anyone’s face.

          Survivors include his sister, Teresa (Danny) Richard of Dallas, GA; brother, William (Teresa) Moore of Rockingham, NC; nieces and nephews, Jane (Travis) Hiscutt of Woodstock, GA, Addie (Wesley) Brown of Kennesaw, GA, Will (Jenn) Moore, Jr. of Algonquin, IL, and Cory Benoist of High Point, NC.
