HISTORY: Mrs. Gilley was born March 25, 1933 in Chesterfield, SC a daughter of the late William Alex "Willie" and Clara Elizabeth Hancock Lear. She was a homemaker and a member of Ruby Presbyterian Church. Joyce enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, cooking for her family, and working in her flowers and vegetable garden. In addition to her parents, Joyce was preceded in death by her husband, Allen G. Gilley and by two brothers and ten sisters.
