Joyce Jordan Jenkins

          Mrs. Joyce Jordan Jenkins, age 65, entered into rest on Friday, February 17, 2023. Graveside services will be 11:00 AM Monday, February 20, 2023 at Fairview Baptist Church Cemetery by Rev. Ricky “Sweet” Jenkins, Rev. Joey Oliver, and Rev. Grady Baskins. The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM, Sunday, February 19, 2023 at Miller-Rivers-Caulder Funeral Home.

          Joyce was born September 1, 1957 in Monroe, NC to Rufus and Kathleen Starnes Jordan. Joyce was a member of Grace and Mercy Worship Center where she also served as the pastor’s wife. Joyce enjoyed watching Lifetime movies and Dhar Mann videos. Mrs. Jenkins spent her evenings watching Wheel of Fortune and Jeopardy.

          In addition to her parents, Joyce was predeceased by her siblings, Wayne Laney, Larry Laney, and Linda Laney.

          Survivors include her husband of 28 years, Rev.Ricky “Sweet” Jenkins of the home; daughter, Kim (David Airington) Meade of Pageland, SC; grandchildren, Miranda Merriman, Charles Meade, Jr., Jacob Meade, Carlee Meade, Siblings, Bobby (Cathy) Laney of Lancaster, SC, Lottie Watkins of Monroe, NC, and numerous nieces and nephews.
