Mr. Lindsey was born on June 20, 1988 in Cheraw, SC, to Rosalind Tucker Johnson and the late Wayne Lindsey. He graduated from Chesterfield High School in 2006 and was employed by VSC Fire & Security. In his formative years, Justin attended Calvary Baptist Church of Jefferson where he was baptized as a young boy. Known for his cheerful disposition and zest for life, Justin embraced each day with enthusiasm. His passion for sports was evident through his love for baseball and softball; he enjoyed sharing memories of being one of the greatest left-handed pitchers to play the game. In his leisure time, he enjoyed playing video games, listening to music, and playing pool. However, above all else in his life's pursuits, Justin found great pride and joy in becoming a dad, and cherished every moment spent with his children - Sawyer Elizabeth Lindsey and Davis Wayne Lindsey - referring to them as "the best part of him."

In addition to his father, Justin was also preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Richard Tucker; and paternal grandmother, Bonnie Lindsey.

Survivors include his children, Sawyer Elizabeth Lindsey, and Davis Wayne Lindsey; and their mother, Lindsay Davis; his mother, Rosalind (Christus) Johnson of Jefferson, SC; sister, Anna (Stacy) McManus of Pageland, SC; maternal grandmother, Brenda Sprinkle Tucker of Mt. Croghan, SC; and paternal grandfather, Johnny Lindsey of Mt. Croghan, SC.

Also surviving are his step-father, John Johnson of Mt. Croghan, SC; step-mother, Crystal Jordan Lindsey of Kershaw, SC; niece, Ava McManus; nephew, Brantlee McManus; uncles, Jason (Michelle) Tucker of Mt. Croghan, SC, Tim (Donna) Lindsey of Ruby, SC, and Rev. Kenneth (Cindy) Lindsey of Chesterfield, SC; in addition to numerous cousins and friends.
