Mr. Karl Walter Dwyer, age 65, entered into rest on Thursday, January 26, 2017 at his home surrounded by his family. A Celebration of Life Gathering will be 2:00 PM Sunday, January 29, 2017 at the Twin Harbor Community Center, Mt. Gilead, NC, with burial at a later date in the Kingdom Cemetery, Van Buren, NY.

Karl was born August 28, 1951 in Syracuse, NY a son of the late John Michael and Louise Marie Schroeder Dwyer. He was a retired tool and die maker with Pass & Seymour LeGrande and was a Horologist and former owner of Antique Clocks and Watches. Karl was a mason and attended Twin Harbor Worship Center. He was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed hunting and fishing. Karl also enjoyed spending time with his family and friends at Twin Harbor.

Survivors include his wife, Penny L. Dwyer of the home; daughter, Connie Dwyer (Richard) Bump of Memphis, NY; 2 brothers, John “Dutch” (Mary) Dwyer of Memphis, NY, and Michael (Lynn) Dwyer of Jordan, NY; 1 sister, Anne Marie Dwyer (Ralph) Haney of Eldridge, NY.
