INTERMENT: will follow in the Bethlehem Baptist Church Cemetery, Pageland, SC
VISITATION: will be 1:00 - 2:00 P.M. Tuesday, April 29, 2014, prior to the service at the Funeral Home.
HISTORY: Mrs. Horne was born May 23, 1936, in Chesterfield, SC, a daughter of the late Henry Phillip and Donar McLain James. She was a 1955 graduate of Chesterfield High School, and a former employee of SLS. Katherine enjoyed sewing, cooking, gardening, fishing, and taking care of her family. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Jonas W. "Pete" Horne; 2 brothers, Julian and William James; and by 6 sisters, Madge King, Clara Wallace, Leatha Freeman, Margaret Moore, Jennie Hancock, and Nellie James.

2 Daughters: Doris (Lane) Evans and Carolyn (Charlie) Thomas of Pageland, SC
