Mrs. Katherine “Kathy” Sikes Deason, age 57, entered into rest on Thursday, June 10, 2021. Funeral services will be 12:00 PM Saturday, June 12, 2021 at Lighthouse Baptist Church by Pastor Josh Russell with burial to follow in the church cemetery. The family will greet friends from 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM prior to the service in the sanctuary of the church.
Mrs. Deason was born October 25, 1963 in Pageland, SC a daughter of Elsie Mullis Sikes and the late Paul Sikes. She was employed with Aalberts Integrated Piping Systems (formerly Conbraco Industries) with over 28 years of service. She was a faithful member of Lighthouse Baptist Church of Pageland. Kathy enjoyed cooking, spending time with her family, and a good shopping trip to Goodwill. A lady who loved the Lord, her family, and her friends, her testimony proclaimed God’s goodness in her life.
In addition to her father, Mrs. Deason was also preceded in death by a sister, Annette Sikes.
Survivors include her husband of 42 years, Ronnie Deason; children, Stephanie (Glenn) Little of Pageland, SC, Ashley (Frankie) Johnson of Chester, SC, and James (Mallory McDowell) Deason of Mt. Croghan, SC; mother, Elsie Mullis Sikes of Mt. Croghan, SC; grandchildren, Rosaleigh McIntyre, Gage Deason, Harper McDowell, and Reece Ann Deason; brothers, Kenneth Sikes of Mt. Croghan, SC, and Sammy (Sharon) Sikes of Black Mountain, NC; sisters, Brenda Thurman, Patricia Parker both of Pageland, SC, Shelby (Doyle) Little of Marshville, NC, and Rita (Edward) Alexson of Jefferson, SC; and numerous nieces and nephews.
