Mrs. Kathy “Denise” Turnage Conrad, age 61, entered into rest on Wednesday, February 22, 2017. Graveside Services will be 2:00 PM Friday, February 24, 2017 at Ebenezer United Methodist Church Cemetery. The family will greet friends immediately following the service at the cemetery.

Mrs. Conrad was born May 10, 1955 in Chesterfield, SC a daughter of the late Wade and Newell Graves Turnage. She was a former employee of Carolina Restaurant and Cuddy Farms. Mrs. Conrad was a member of Ebenezer United Methodist Church.

In addition to her parents, Denise was also preceded in death by her husband, Lawrence Conrad; 5 sisters, Patsy Turnage, Jane Wallace, Sharon Garris, Sara Arant, and Judy Suggs; 1 brother, Wayne Turnage; and brother-in-law, Larry Melton.

Survivors include her children, Charles R. Melton of Chesterfield, SC and Lori M. McLain of Columbia, SC; 5 grandchildren, Jonathan Mark Donahue, Jr., Brayden McLain, Blake McLain, Brandy McLain, and Bella McLain; 2 sisters, Karen Melton and Linda (Robert)
Davis both of Chesterfield, SC; brothers, Ronnie (Gertrude) Turnage of Chesterfield, SC, Joseph (Kathy) Turnage of Pageland, SC, and Steve (Sandra) Turnage of Cheraw, SC; also numerous nieces and nephews.
